Philippines Airlines Set To Commence Cebu - Los Angeles Direct Flights.



Philippines Airlines, the national carrier of the Philippines is all set to commence direct flight to Los Angeles from it's Cebu Hub. The inaugural flight is set to comence on the 2nd of May, 2020.

Cebu airport located approximately 800Km south of Manila recently underwent major renovation and remodelling with the view of making it a viable option for international travel and also a gateway to the visayas region of the Philippines with notable tourist attraction in neighbouring locations like Bohol, Siquijor, Dumaguete etc.

Cebu is a province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region, and consists of a main island and 167 surrounding islands. Its capital is Cebu City, "the Queen City of the South", the oldest city and first capital of the Philippines. Making the city a dream tourist destination.

Philippines Airlines plans to kick start the Cebu - Los Angeles route 3 times weekly with flight departing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with options of increasing frequencies based on passenger traffic in addition to the existing Manila - Los Angeles route. It is however not clear which aircraft between B777-300 or the Airbus A350 the airline will be deploying to the route.

The 4 Star national carrier notable for it's onboard excellent product and services currently operates a young mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft with Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A321neo, Airbus A330, Airbus A350, and Boeing 777-300ER in its fleet.
