Emirates marks an important fleet milestone today with the delivery of its first Airbus A350 aircraft. A6-EXA is the first of 65 A350 aircraft to be delivered to the airline over the course of the next few years. The delivery also marks the first new aircraft type to join the Emirates fleet since 2008. The aircraft has already been officially handed to Emirates and flown to Dubai. The aircraft will receive its finishing touches at Emirates Engineering before being officially unveiled at a special event later this week.  The delivery flight for the newest member of the Emirates fleet was powered by a blend of jet fuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).   South Korean authorities confirm 179 victims identified as investigation into country's deadliest aviation disaster continues Investigators have successfully extracted data from the cockpit voice recorder of the Jeju Air flight that crashed Sunday at Muan International Airport, while recovery efforts continue at the crash site, South Korea’s transport ministry announced, according to a report from Yonhap news agency. The Boeing 737-800, operating as flight 7C-2216 from Bangkok, crashed during landing and collided with a concrete wall off the runway’s end, resulting in 179 fatalities. Only two crew members survived the incident, making it South Korea’s deadliest aviation disaster, according to official statements. British Airways Retires Entire Fleet Of Boeing 747 Aircrafts.

British Airways have finally retired the entire fleet of its Boeing 747 planes after plummeting passenger numbers forces the decision to bring forward plan to retire them in 2024. This finally brings to the end the era of the iconic plane nicknamed the "the Queen of the skies". The airline is the world’s last major operator of the iconic Boeing 747 aircraft which has been in service with the airline since 1971. It had 31 jumbo jets in use before the coronavirus pandemic forced the decision to ground the entire fleet at airports across the country.
